感受演讲魅力 展现附中风采

——云南师范大学附属镇雄中学初中部第三届英语演讲比赛

春末初夏，骤雨初歇。为了丰富学生的校园文化生活，激发同学们学习英语的热情，提高同学们英语口语的能力，营造一个良好的英语学习氛围，为更多的同学提供一个尽情挥洒创意，展现英语风采的舞台。      

2020年6月21号晚七时许，云南师范大学附属镇雄中学初中部举行了第三届英语演讲比赛，胡克州校长为此次演讲比赛致辞，胡校长从三个方面激励同学们好好学习英语；一是鼓励同学们学好英语，努力使自己成为高个子。二是激励用好英语，践行优秀，让优秀成为附中常态。三是通过对新冠疫情的分析，引导同学们具有家国情怀、具有文化包容心、具有世界眼光，把国家的光荣发扬。通过高标准、高立意、高要求鼓舞学生学习英语。胡校长一直提倡附中学子打造“三力”实现“四会”,“三力”即自我管理能力、自主学习能力、自我生存能力。“四会”则为学会做人做事、学会学习探究、学会交流合作、学会生存发展。

校长致辞

比赛中，参赛选手个个精神饱满，激情洋溢，用标准的口语，流畅的表达，得体的肢体语言，充分展现了附中学子超强的英语口语应用及临场应变能力，赢得了观众的阵阵掌声，现场气氛十分活跃.

古人说:“人以铜为镜,可以正衣冠;以古为镜,兴替可以见;以人为镜,可以知得失。”2号选手告诉我们要学会安放自己的情绪，学会微笑，让内心定下来，让思绪静下来，将情绪转化为智慧与力量。

处理坏情绪

初二年级18班，用流利纯正的英语或幽默风趣、生动活泼，或谈笑风生、娓娓道来,惟妙惟肖的配音了网课茶话会，嗨翻全场，为大家送上一场别开生面、妙趣横生的视听盛宴。当配音落下帷幕的时候，全场评委和观众都觉得意犹未尽，同学们的表现得到了大家一致称赞。

友谊是王昌龄眼中的“洛阳亲友如相问，一片冰心在玉壶”；友谊是王维眼中的“相逢意气为君饮，系马高楼垂柳边”；友谊是李白眼中的“唯愿当歌对酒时，月光常照金樽里”。

友谊，是同在一片蓝天下的两棵树，一齐顶着烈日，一齐应对风雨，一齐理解季节的馈赠，默默地给彼此鼓励和安慰。

友谊是连接心和心的一根藤，你连着我，我连着你，风风雨雨让友谊的藤更加牢固坚定。

友谊，是一根线，总是在你最需要的时候，能够伸出双手拉你一把。 这就是5号选手眼中的友谊。

6号选手满怀深情地告诉我们常怀感恩之心，常做感恩之事。

你如一盏明灯，照亮我黑暗的前途；

你如一缕阳光，温暖我寒冷的身体；

你如一本大书，启迪我走向知识的殿堂。

比赛结束后，闵煜老师对选手的表现进行点评，指出了各选手在比赛过程中的闪光点及不足，提出对同学们的期望，希望同学们继续努力，成为附中高个子。经过评委的评比打分，最终角逐出：特等奖1名，一等奖2名，二等奖5名，三等奖12名。

通过本次比赛，同学们诠释了附中学子的自信与风采，展现了他们对学习英语的热爱和执着。同时也激励附中学子敢开口，会开口，善开口，勇于表达自己。乐于传承我们璀璨的中华文化，因此我们不仅要学好汉语更要学好英语。因为英语是一门国际语言，时代的进步要求我们学习英文，校长教导我们要学好英语，用英文去讲述中国故事，告诉世界中国是一个美好的国度，告诉世界中华民族向往和平，同时也不惧怕敌人。在欢笑中收获一份难忘的记忆，更在比赛中感受了学习与成长的快乐。

Hello everyone, I'm glad to give my speech here. I'm a student from Grade Eight. I live in a common life. I have some friends, we do almost everything together: eat lunch, do homework, do sports and go home.We often teach each other and we have same hobbies. I like watching My Little Pony, here's a song in it: my little pony, my little pony, what is friendship all about? Do you know what is friendship? I used to wonder what it could be. At the beginning, I didn't know the importance of friendship. Just like the little pony Twilight Sparkle in My Little Pony. But now, I know friendship is the thing that is simple but important. Now let's think together: When you feel sad ,who makes you happy? Friends. When you are in trouble, who helps you? Friends.Who plays with you? Who talks with you? Who cheers you up? Friends, friends, friends. I'm a loser, how many times I ask myself what should I do. Maybe you think my life is bad, but I'm a winner, too. Yesterday is a history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. Face life bravely, we can do more things. Please remember: the most important thing is love. To love, to find, to learn. Betty is one of my best friends, once there was a competition in our school. I wanted to join it, but I was afraid to do badly in it. Betty said: “Never mind. I believe you can do it.” She cheered me up and helped me a lot. Because of my friend`s help, I am confident about myself now so I can stand here and give my speech today. Oh, I forgot it. I have a paper in my pocket. If we crush it and throw to the floor, it's just a letter. But if we pick it up and color it, it will be a beautiful picture. Life just like this paper, if we always feel nervous and be afraid to do something, we can't do anything, but if we are confident about ourselves and try our best, we can do everything. That`s what my friend told me. Here is a song about friendship.

Good night, my dear teachers and friends! My number is six. I am very glad to stand here to give a short speech. Today my topic is about thankfulness.

Whom would you like to thank most? Maybe your parents, teachers or friends, and so on. Whom that I want to thank most is our motherland, China. What a great word! When I was a child, my mother pointed at the map of China, asking: “ my dear, do you know? This is our motherland.” When I grew up, my teacher pointed at the globe, teaching me to locate the Yellow River, the Great Wall and Beijing. Then, I began to know the Yellow River is your arteries. Beijing is your heart, China is taking off like a dragon. It grows stronger day by day. The more powerful our motherland is, the more confident we are. When there's a country, there could be home. In front of the crises, you protected us and make sure our safety. Thank you for providing us with a good life. Thank you for giving us the wings to fly. Thank you for giving us the chance to study. Thank you for everything you give us. But what should we do to thank our motherland? Zhong Nanshan has set a good example for us. He also lead us to fight against the viruses. The NPC has been controlled all over the country mainly because of him. As a part of China, we should try to grow to be talented that our country needs urgently. We should study hard and shouldn't waste the chance. We should save time and always fight for our dreams or our lives. So we can make some contributions to improve the development of China. So let's take action now! I am proud that I am Chinese. China is one of the largest countries in the world. I believe our motherland will be better and it has always been our pride. Thank you, my dear motherland, you give the word happiness and make it more wonderful.
